Very Good

It had everything I needed to be comfortable. The hotel is a little hard to find especially because Shibuya is confusing but once you figure out the way it’s alright. The price is unbeatable and the staff are very pleasant and polite. I suppose I was lucky with my room as I have read some other disgruntled customers. I actually liked the key return policy so I wouldn’t lose my keys, and I felt safer knowing that strangers/ unauthorised hotel guests weren’t entering.

Facilities are a little old but it’s whatever LOL ️ didn’t bother me

A nice little boutique hotel, extremely friendly and helpful staff in a handy location.

Great location, close to the Shibuya scramble, shops, restaurants and bars.

The apartment was too warm for me, the airconditioner didn't work and unfortunately I couldn't open the window. This is possibly a thing in Japan as my previous hotel six days earlier in Osaka also did not have the A/C funtioning due to being close to Winter, however that hotel allowed the window to be opened. This is probably a personal thing more than anything, others may have been happy with the warmth of the room.

A Comfortable night in Shibuya.

The hotel is close to the Shibuya station. You don’t have to be bothered when you want to visit central Tokyo.

Single room is a bit too small(but it’s acceptable). Any there’s no fridge.

Fab location and a great little place to stay

Great quirky little hotel - was like staying at my grandparents place - very nostalgic - not modern at all - but fab location - 5 mins walk to Shibuya Scramble - very nice staff too

Wonderful

We loved our stay in this hotel which was super close to the Shinjuku crossing. The room was unexpectedly large which was great, and very comfortable. I would gladly stay here again.

I would have loved to receive a phone reminder 30 min prior to check out, as we mixed up the times and ended up missing the time and having to pay an hour extra. Also it would be great if the hotel could provide more cosmetic amenities.

Fantastic stay! Would stay again 100%

The location was fantastic, not only close to Shibuya but a very lovely walk to Omotesando Hills and Harajuku. The staff were great, and the room was clean and surprisingly big for Tokyo. It was a very comfortable stay, don’t let the decor deter you, it’s actually very charming!

We visited in fall so the aircon apparently changed to only warm setting which was why we couldn’t get the cold air to work. But when we called front desk they immediately brought up an electric fan that did the job!

Really great accommodation in Shibuya

The hotel is in a great spot with very easy access to Shibuya station. It is clean, with a cozy British-feeling atmosphere.The staff were very helpful and polite and available 24/7. Each day, they would make free coffee in the lobby in the morning, then they would provide a free bottle of water on your return to the hotel, which was quite pleasant. The room itself was a generous size and quite comfortable.

A very (and I'd emphasize very) minor inconvenience was the requirement to leave the room key with the front desk each time you leave, then to recover the key from them on your return. I did enjoy being able to interact more with the friendly staff, though it was slightly inconvenient on times when we'd be popping in and out of the hotel briefly throughout the day.

Great hotel with some minor flaws, recommend booking for price and location.

Location was close to Shibuya station. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was larger then our previous hotel.

It’s dated but it has its charms. No a/c during fall/winter season which was not good since the 8th floor gets hot.

Location is great, comfortable bed, friendly staff

Location is quite close to attractive places, convenience store, comfortable bed and pyjama is available. The room is compact but you got everything you need inside.

If you bring big luggage from the station, it's quite difficult to cross the pedestrian bridge crossing just outside the hotel and lifting big luggage at the same time. It might be better for people who travel with light luggage otherwise it's better to find flat road where you could just drag your luggage.

Wonderful

The staff are very helpful. The room was clean and bigger than expected. The location is close to Shibuya train station, within walking distance, but it is quite difficult to find an easy and flat path to the hotel. If you follow Google Maps guidance while walking, the app will lead you to climb the flyover.

Great hotel. We will go back

Lovely in-room vintage decor. Great location, within walking distance to Shibuya station. Helpful staff. Good hot tub and strong in-room wifi. The hotel staff was willing to keep our luggage for a few hours even after checkout at no cost. Really appreciated.

Small room, small dustbin but it's normal in Japan. Entrance is with stairs thus be prepared to climb up a bit with luggage

Enjoyable stay in central Shibuya

Good location in Shibuya, close to the station, but far enough not to be instantly in a crowded neighborhood when you exit the hotel. The only downside is the hotel is on a hill, in an area where to cross the roads you need to climb stairs and walk over the highway. For older people maybe not recommended. But a taxi can drop you off at the front door no problem.

Good

The location is really great (5 min-walking distance from Shibuya Station). The room is small, but with all the comforts. If you arrive from Shibuya Station, you can also avoid to cross the bridge in front of the hotel with luggages. Just walk straight 2 minutes more and you can easily cross the street avoiding to carry suitcases or heavy backpacks ;-) I really appreciated that the Reception staff welcomes you every morning with hot coffee and when you get back in the late afternoon/evening they give you everyday a bottle of water for free.

The only pain point is the lighting inside the room (it was a little bit too dark in my opinion, considering that in the main space where the bed is placed there is no central light on the ceiling, but just a table lamp on the desk.). But I guess it was also related to the style and atmosphere of the building.
